Overview
A newsreel from the 1940s documenting the inauguration of several galleries at the National Palace of Photographic Art, an art museum created and maintained by the artist Rómulo M. César Ego, winner of numerous national and international awards. The ceremony was attended by a large audience, including Lieutenant Commander Jorge Luna, aide-de-camp to the President of the Republic. The galleries displayed photographs of landscapes from the Peruvian coast, highlands, and rainforest, as well as images of folklore, customs, artistic compositions, and more.
