Overview

A newsreel from the 1940s depicts the closing ceremony of the academic year for the graduating class of the Obstetrics Department at the Faculty of Medicine, held in the main courtyard of the Maternity Hospital. Dr. Pablo Boza, the first professor of Obstetric Pathology, expresses his gratitude to the graduating class for the honor of having the department named after him. The graduates received their diplomas and graduation rings bearing the symbol of Asclepius.
